Child Pornography to be tackled by Credit Card Companies
It seems that the credit card companies are now united in their effort to put a lid on the issue of eliminating the use of credit card in the Internet child pornography business. The executives from credit card companies, including the majors like American Express, MasterCard and Visa expressed their views to the Congressional panel. The executives said that it was difficult to track those trying to exploit innocent children on the Web. To track such activities a joint effort of law enforcement authorities and people in the financial service industry across the world would be required. Child pornography is a global problem and it needs an effort across the globe. It is believed that by putting in a joint effort it would be possible to tackle websites that indulge in such horrendous activities and put an end to it by putting the responsible people behind bars. So the only way is a joint effort.
