Beware college students!! No matter how enticing the cards look try and avoid it or you may land up in a soup. It has been found out that today an average college student carries twice as much debt than what their predecessors used to do ten years back.
By the time the semester ends most of the students run out of cash and hence they are forced to look for other sources of money such as credit cards. If you as a student is looking for a credit card think twice before opting for it as you would not want to get into a situation where you would not be able to pay back the money.
In case you would still like to go for a credit card then it would be better that you opt for a single card and make only necessary purchases using the card. If possible opt for a debit card as at least it would be possible for you to control your expenses.
