Managing money will never be a problem tomorrow, if a person makes money management his habit. This becomes a habit only if it is nutured from the very age you hold your first pound or dollar. This is exactly what 12 years old Earl and his two friends are planning to do. These guys are already smart with money as they have some savings and want to invest them properly right away. When I say proper investment I mean that Earl and his friends are going to attend a seminar on Saturday, for children aged 12-16, who will be taught the basics of personal finance free of cost.

This seminar is conducted by the Xi Lambda Lambda chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. This seminar was previously conducted to educate the residents of West Nyack on the basics of money management. This seminar at Merrill Lynch would equip the youth with managing funds, real-estate financing for homeowners or potential homeowners. The seminar paper will be presented by Cynthia Vaughan-Williams, president of Rockland Employees Federal Credit Union. The seminar will have fifteen students who will be taugh on how to be prejudiced while using their credit cards , inorder to avoid piling debts. They will also be educated on different ways of making money via stocks, bonds and other such money making devices, along with the knowing of how the investments in a particular stock works. The other seminar will give presentations on real estate financing, banking, mortgages and credit.

Such seminars not only act as personal finance guides but also encourage people to manage their funds in the smartest ways possible. With such seminars in the West Nyack county the financial future of the county looks bright.
